Just about 10 years ago we started building our dark fibre network with the goal of bringing options to the telecom marketplace in the region. Our growth was fueled by dark fibre sales, private capital, lit services and modest Government support (which we repaid). Recently we completed our build to Edmundston New Brunswick and now we have almost 2000km of cable and almost a quarter-million km of fibre optic strands across the region and limitless broadband capacity. Metro networks in Fredericton, Moncton, Saint John and a growing presence in Halifax that compete directly with billion-dollar Canadian carriers every day in the enterprise connectivity space and win. A privately owned fibre network, that counts as its customers some of the world's largest content providers, Governments, National and International carriers, the largest industrial companies in Atlantic Canada and a variety of SME businesses across many industries. I'm pretty proud of what we have accomplished so far, not bad for a small-town company and some big dreams.
